1928
Michel Meyer begin his apprenticeship with the gilder Gerner in Strasbourg. He then continue his training with the gilder Metz, also in Strasbourg.

1956
He then establishes his own workshop on Rue de la Charmille in Strasbourg.

1958
Jean-Jacques Meyer, son of Michel Meyer, begins his apprenticeship with his father on September 1st, 1958.

1972
Jean-Jacques Meyer earns the title of one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (Best Craftsmen of France).

1976
Michel Meyer also earns the title of one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (Best Craftsmen of France).

1975-1979
In the late 1970s, they began working for Historical Monuments, who continue to trust us to this day.

1981
June 6th: Michel Meyer passes away.

1986
Jean-Jacques Meyer and his wife take over the workshop from their parents. The name "Atelier d'art et de Dorures" became well known in Strasbourg.

2000
Pascal Meyer earns the title of one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. Following this, we become the only company in France to have three generations of MOF (Best Craftsmen of France).

2002
Pascal Meyer and his wife Eladia open their business in Schiltigheim.

2005
The couple welcomed their first apprentice in September.

2006
Obtaining the label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company).

2008
Obtaining accreditation from the Musées de France (Museums of France).

2010
Interior layout of the workshop.

2012
Acquisition of a collection of molds.

2015
Acquisition of a Parisian workshop's inventory.

2017
Updating our logo and communication materials.

2018
Purchase of a storage room for our expansion.

2019
Selection of the Saint Guillaume Relief (restored by our studio) for the exhibition "Restored Treasures of the Middle Ages".

2020
Development of the new website.
